I'm a Seattle, WA-based healthcare IT consultant, photographer, and explorer whose creative work is focused on outdoor and adventure travel. In 2015, I prioritized spending my weekends and vacation time on backcountry ventures, primarily in America's national parks, and I've been hooked on camping, hiking, and photography ever since. I now use landscape and timelapse photography as a way to inspire others to experience Mother Nature and discover beautiful places.
My partner throughout the entirety of this photographic journey has been my wife Sonja Saxe, otherwise known as The National Parks Girl on most social platforms. She's an incredibly talented photographer and plans nearly all the details for our trips. She also writes helpful trip reports and adventure guides on her blog here.
